"We shared a Tropical Pack between two people, plus a Pluto pup, and were both very satisfied. Even though it had to sit in the oven for almost an hour, and then opened long enough that it needed a microwave (long story; summation, kids!) before I got to eat it, everything was fresh and delicious. The fish was thick and beautifully cooked, the crumb light, and everything else was equally excellent. I'm not usually a reviewer, but I was so impressed, I had to share. Our new sneaky parent's takeaway treat!"

"Gave 4 stars because the food is great, and prices are very reasonable. The only reason I didn't give 5 is because the time estimates are sometimes way off (if they say 25mins, it could be over an hour). I don't mind waiting around for the great food though, but if I need to run on time (ie get home before the footy starts) ill order elsewhere."

"For 7ys I've been looking for a nice burger in Townsville & TBH most burger joints are crap,No taste full of fat or on top of that your paying an arm & leg for it but it's paid off Golf link's Fish Bar has the best Burgers in Townsville also wraps & general Fish & Chips Now back to the Burger buns fresh, the lot means the lot normally you have too add Beetroot & Pineapple as extras, but not here now if you like home made Beef patty with flavour, you've scored all in all, PERFECT Huge Hamburger full of flavour, not fatty/greasy, the lot means the LOT,& most of all AFFORDABLE Also this isn't a one-off because I've been coming here for the past 2y & they have never, never had a bad Burger, there quality off taste, affordability, is worth 10 stars & more."
